The precise tools are special developments with regrinding intervals of up to 50 million strokes. The precision of the components is ensured throughout the entire cycle. The process from punching to bonding is 100% monitored. Important features of the components are measured 100% or verified in random samples. Stable production with 0 ppm is achieved thanks to fully automated production and the perfect coordination of material, tools, machine, process, and testing methods. The machine calculates the ideal number of laminations from the measured data such as strip thickness, shrinkage, and stack height after bonding the ideal number of laminations. This means that the stack height of the end product is continuously controlled. There is hardly any reworking and no rejects. The result is 0 ppm production with minimal waste for stator segments manufactured using BPS® technology.
