Our customer from the medtech industry manufactures surgical hand tools. These tool reqiure high performance electrical motors from very thin NO10 material. SWD AG is the ideal partner for the production of the stator lamination stacks from NO10 in highest precision, stiffness and quality.
Challenge
Surgical tools must be precise and reliablae and withstand many cycles of sterilization. The drive technology is switched from pressurized air to high performance electrical motors. Beside high performance data, low losses and therefore heat disipation are curcial. A hot tool is not only uncomfortable but also harms concentration of the operator. Materials as NO10 are the solutions for this applications.
Approach
SWD AG has longterm experience with small, precise lamination stacks and also with very thin materials as NO10 for lower losses. Our expertise in punching, stacking and fast bonding is the base for the perfect solution. Each single sheet is rotated with our DKS®-technology and the single sheets are bonded with our BPS®-technology.
