Measurement devices & measurement data: Our processes are designed for 0 ppm
Thanks to intelligent solutions, we ensure that there are no deviations in the lamination stack. We have also developed and introduced high-precision manufacturing processes for our tools, so there are no surprises. All measurements are digital and flow into a separate data pool. We can draw evaluations from this and present them in a matter of seconds. This enables us to evaluate manufacturing influences, process stability, and tolerances quickly and precisely.
Innovative measuring methods for high-precision tool production
We use high-precision, air-conditioned eroding machines to build the tools. Together with the manufacturer of the machines, we were able to further increase the precision to specifically meet our requirements. We can immediately measure the eroded components on a high-precision measuring machine and thus even compensate for the material influences of the respective material batch for the tools.
Precise measurement data for perfect lamination stacks
High-precision tools are the basis for precise lamination stacks – throughout the entire service life. The assembly of the tools is also measured and corrected if necessary. Measurements of punches and dies on a ZEISS KMM and of laminations on a ZEISS O-DETECT meet our standard. This enables us to generate precise data from the design to the finished tool.
Constant empirical data ensures narrower tolerances
Thanks to the continuous collection of production data, we are able to quantify the effects of material batches, rolling directions, etc. This wealth of experience is constantly growing and is incorporated into every new project. In this way, we create the basis for ever narrower tolerances.
What our employees have to say:
“We attach great importance to continuous measurements and immediate measurement results. This is the only way for every employee to take responsibility for quality.”

Quality and process managerOptimized quality control in production
Other important aspects are inspection plans agreed with the customer and ongoing measurements on the line. Our aim is to ensure that measurements during serial manufacturing are as simple as possible and at the same time precise. We already have ZEISS measuring machines in use during the series ramp-up.
Digital precision in production analysis
All measurement data on the electrical stacks is digitized and flows into our own data pool. We can draw evaluations from this and present them in a matter of seconds. This enables us to carry out the evaluation of manufacturing influences, process stability, and even the evaluation of tolerances quickly and precisely.
